Executive functions in English second language learning

Recently, neuroscience studies have helped the field of Education to understand how brain processes information and teachers can benefit from this knowledge, specially related Executive Functions (EFs). EFs be described as set skills which allow us perform necessary actions achieve a goal. There are three core EFs: working memory, inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility.
